Photographer and communications assistant: Medical Mercy Canada Society, August 2008 – March 2010.
Accompanied this Calgary-based aid organization to Burma's border areas in 2009 and 2010, as the NGO's  documentarian and an independent reporter. Editor of the biannual newsletter and MMC representative to the Fig Tree Foundation. Also assisted with communications and maintaining the donor database. Medical Mercy delivers aid and medical training to Burma's ethnic minorities, as well as to Nepal, Sri Lanka and

Assistant Campaign Co-ordinator: The Salvation Army

Responsible as assistant coordinator for the 2009 Christmas fundraising campaign for designing promotional material, hiring and liaising with musicians and securing venues for fundraising performances, organizing the Merry Mile parade, coordinating the Kettle at Work program with over 100 local businesses, and organizing the campaign volunteer appreciation party.

Photographer: Mary A. Tidlund Foundation, August 2008 – January 2009.
Photographer and videographer for the Tidlund Foundation at its aid projects in Kenya and Tanzania in November 2008. Co-scripted a short documentary about the foundation's projects in Nepal and NW India. The Tidlund Foundation operates education and health projects for women and children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Canadian Native reserves.

Wrote full-length features, researched and compiled monthly departments such as Arts Picks, Eye on Alberta, Citizen Action, By the Numbers and The Guide. Participated in editorial meetings and acted as a magazine spokesperson with co-workers at events in which Alberta Views had an official presence.

Assistant to Resource Development: Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter, February – June 2005.
Designed graphics and layout for the shelter’s annual report and event programs. Solicited corporations for charitable donations, assisted in organizing major fund raising dinner and silent auction events. Also responsible for reception duties, such as answering phones, filing, taking minutes, data entry, general clerical work, and maintaining records. Used Microsoft Office, Quark XPress and Adobe Suite programs.
